ENTRIES to this year's Middlesbrough Citizen of the Year competition must be in by the end of next week.
The scheme, run by Middlesbrough Council, aims to find the person in the town who has made a major contribution to the community in the past year.
Nomination forms are available on website www.middlesbrough.gov.uk and copies can be obtained at council offices, reception points and libraries.
Entrants can range from voluntary workers to a community group, a dedicated carer or someone who has achieved sporting success against the odds.
There is no age restriction for nominees, the only rules that apply are the person must live in the town and their contribution to the town occurred in the past year.

Entries must reach the Civic Office, Middlesbrough Council, Town Hall, Middlesbrough, TS1 2QQ by Friday, April 7.
