POLICE executed a further warrant yesterday as part of a continuing investigation with the RSPCA into badger baiting in the North-East.
Property was seized from a house in the Cramlington area of Northumberland.
It forms part of Operation Rushford, an intelligence-led operation that began last October and has been run jointly between Northumbria Police and the RSPCA Special Operations Unit.
There were two raids on homes in the Cramlington area earlier this month.
Northumberland Area Command wildlife crime officer PC Andy Swinburne said: "This is an ongoing operation and I would be keen to hear from anyone who has information about badger baiting in the Cramlington area. Any information will be treated in the strictest confidence."
Anyone with information is asked to call 0191-214 6555.
