ORGANISERS of an annual North Yorkshire festival have appealed for people to get involved.
Plans for Richmond Meet, from May 26 to 29, are well under way.
The festival starts with the president's dinner at the Kings Head Hotel on the Friday. Cycle rides of 100, 50 and 15 miles will take place on Saturday around the Dales.
A civic parade and church service will be held on Sunday. Then on Monday, there will be cycle races on the cricket field and music in Friary Gardens.
There will also be a fancy dress parade with floats through the town.
A Meet spokesman said: "Every year, we hear people saying there aren't as many floats as last year - now's your chance to change it."
To enter a float, call Sue or Geoff on 07976 357080.
Groups are also wanted to perform on the Sunday. To get involved, call Frank on (01748) 822139.
