FILM makers are being given a chance to promote their work at the world's most prestigious film festival.
UK Trade & Investment has joined forces with Northern Film and Media to organise a visit to the 59th Cannes Film Festival in May.
Jeff Sanders, one of UKTI's international trade advisors, said production companies, directors and writers can benefit from the trip.
He said: "The festival offers an ideal opportunity for delegates to arrange meetings and promote their company's work to a wide audience. Last year more than 30,000 cinema professionals, including distributors, directors, actors, technicians and journalists attended."
Companies wishing to attend need to register at http:// reg.cannesinteractive.com by Friday. For details or to book, call 0845 0505054.
