A FORMER science teacher is holding a photographic exhibition next month to raise money for her old school.
Briony Isaacs' pictures will be on show in That Juice Place, in Skinnergate, Darlington, between 5.30pm and 9pm, on Friday, April 7.
Ms Isaacs is a former Hummersknott School pupil and teacher. She runs a photographic and printing business in Darlington.
Refreshments will be on sale on the night and ten per cent of the sale of photographs will go towards Hummersknott School's trip to the Himalayas with Community Action Treks.
Ms Isaacs became interested in photography on a year-long backpacking trip.
She said: "Every year, Hummersknott teacher Dave Bell takes an outdoor education-based school trip to the Lake District. I went myself as a year nine pupil and have returned as a volunteer for over ten years.
"Although I am not able to join them on the Nepal trip, I thought it would be great if I could help them raise money for it."
