Newcastle computer components firm Mobilx has extended its sponsorship deal with the Newcastle Mobilx Vipers. Mobilx signed up as the headline sponsor of the Newcastle Vipers at the start of the season, in a two-year deal that agreed the ice hockey team would change their name to the Mobilx Vipers. Mobilx has decided to provide sponsorship to the five junior and two amateur senior teams that train at the Metro Arena.
