SHOPFITTING and joinery firm STP has completed one of its most challenging projects to date - fitting five shops, in two countries, in eight weeks.
The company, based in Rowland's Gill, near Gateshead, fitted four shops in the UK and one in Paris for high street bakery chain Millie's Cookies.
Managing director Stephen Flynn said: "We are used to the challenges of tight deadlines for shopfitting but this can be counted as one of the biggest.
"Considering the logistical work which has to go into a project before we even get on-site, such as mobilising a team, organising materials and planning the work flow, this was a very tough challenge.
"We have been working with Millie's Cookies for sometime and have an excellent understanding of their brand identity, which made the job much easier."
The store in Paris is the first in France for Millie's Cookies.
Mr Flynn said: "While the project itself was fairly straightforward, a lot more preparation had to go into the planning stage to take into consideration French legislation."
