WORK has started to landscape the entrance of one of the region's best known business parks.
Alan Capper, founder of landscape architects Kent Design, in Newcastle, has created a bold design for the A689 roundabout at the entrance of Wynyard Park.
Mr Capper, who won awards for his gardens at the Chelsea Flower Show, said: "I have created a very sharp, high impact design that is robust and visually dynamic.
"It is aimed at giving a real sense of arrival to impress existing and potential clients alike, and will reflect the quality and architecture of the development being provided throughout Wynyard Park."
The Wynyard site has already been revamped with new flags, banners and signs at the entrance of the business park.
A team of six from Stockton Borough Council's Care For Your Area service has now been contracted to begin the planting process.
Paul Grylls, managing director of Wynyard Park said: "We are creating what is expected to be one of the region's prime business locations and, therefore, it is crucial that the whole look and feel of the site reflects this high-profile image."
Wynyard Park is a 700-acre development close to the A19, five miles north of Middlesbrough.
The site was created following the amalgamation of the Wynyard One site and the neighbouring Wynyard Business Park site at the end of August..
