X-FACTOR finalists Journey South have visited the region to promote their debut album.
The band performed the forthcoming single from the album, The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face, live on air at the TFM studios in Thornaby, Stockton.
The self-titled album will be released on Monday, March 20, when the pair will undertake a whistle stop promotional tour of the UK.
Brothers Carl and Andy Pemberton will be visiting Edinburgh, Warrington, Birmingham and Middlesbrough to sign autographs. Travelling by private jet, the tour is a far cry from their early days in the business when they were living in a caravan in London, looking for their big break.
The album is produced by Simon Cowell and contains many of the songs they performed on the TV talent contest, plus two original songs.
Carl said: "We are exceptionally proud of the album and we were surprised at how much creative input we got on it.
"We only had three weeks to do it which is ridiculous to record an album.
"We went in with Simon in his office and suggested about 70 per cent of the songs on the album.
"Basically we recorded it acoustically all live, in with the band, which is almost unheard of these days and it's just a really raw acoustic album which we're really proud of."
