IT has been a case of lights, camera, action for a group of tenants.
Residents enjoyed their 15 minutes of fame as they were filmed by a crew in Middlesbrough.
Social landlord Erimus cast some of its tenants in a film to explain £105m modernisation plans for Middlesbrough's stock of former council houses.
The film provides a step-by-step guide of the process, as well as how to prepare for the workmen's arrival.
Part of the video shows work going on in tenants' homes. The film includes homes that have already been modernised.
Andrea Wheatley, who appeared in the film, said: "I wanted to take part in the making of the film to help people understand what it is like to live in your home during the modernisation work and to let people know they will be totally satisfied."
Chris Smith, director of regeneration for Erimus Housing, said: "We want to ensure our residents understand exactly what will happen if their home is to undergo work and exactly what they can do to ensure the process runs smoothly."
