SHOPPERS were surprised to see what appeared to be Marilyn Monroe in a North Yorkshire high street this week.
A student from Harrogate High School dressed up as the famous blonde to promote a range of jewellery designed by the school's enterprise company, Charm.
The original designs will be sold at the town's Dumblonde store tomorrow.
Dumblonde's Crista Webber said: "The talent and originality in the designs from Charm really impressed me, so I invited the company to produce a jewellery range to accompany this season's fashion collections, which are very punk, mod and rock inspired.
"I am absolutely delighted with the results."
They will be selling their designs at the store, in Cheltenham Parade, from 1pm to 5pm.
The students will give 25 per cent of all sales to the Wheelchair Foundation, which provides wheelchairs for people with disabilities in Third World countries.
