A DOG which has twice found herself homeless is hoping to be third time lucky.
The crossbreed Kelsa is at Deerness Kennels in Mill Road, Langley Moor, Durham, after her latest owner fell ill.
RSPCA spokesman Angela Taylor said: "We are hoping it will be third time lucky for Kelsa.
"She was dumped from a van three years ago and found running down the road.
"She was found a good home, where she has lived for the past three years.
"Regrettably, her owner has taken ill and is no longer able to give her the amount of care she needs and she has had to come back to us."
Kelsa is four years old and has lived with children and other dogs.
She is fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.
Ms Taylor said: "We have other dogs from six months up looking for homes as well."
