YOUNGSTERS from the Newtown Youth Drama group will be depicting life in Stockton with their play, Newtown Dream.
It includes factual information and a fictional depiction of life in Stockton.
It will bring to life historical people and places from the area, including Dr M'Gonicle, Ivy Close and Will Hay.
The performance is directed by local actor Jack McBride, choreographed by Samantha Jones and co-ordinated by Marion Wilson from Write to Read.
The group researched the recent history of the Newtown area with local writer Dave Young.
Older residents, including people in St Paul's Court and the Beeches residential homes, also gave their input.
The play is part of celebrations for the centenary of the Newtown School Building this year.
The event, at the Arc, in Dovecot Street, Stockton, on Monday, at 7pm, is free.
Tickets are available from the Arc and Newtown Community Resource Centre, in Durham Road, Stockton.
