MIDDLESBROUGH'S reward for knocking out Italian giants AS Roma in the last round will see them face Swiss side Basle in the quarter-finals of the Uefa Cup.
Boro sealed their place in the last eight of the competition after eliminating the competition favourites on the away goal ruling in the Stadio Olimpico on Wednesday night after a 2-2 aggregate score.
The Teessiders will travel to Switzerland in the first leg on March 30, before returning to the Riverside Stadium for the second leg on April 6. The winners will face Rapid Bucharest or Steaua Bucharest in the semi-final.
