PARENTS are being asked for their opinions about a new baby care facility to open in May.
The baby room at the Green Lane Nursery, in Barnard Castle, will offer care for pre-nursery babies.
Green Lane Nursery manager, Christine Bell, said the facility was well on its way to completion but they still wanted to talk to parents.
She said: "We have the room. Depending on what the parents want, we could offer full-day care or sessions of care.
"But what parents actually want for their children while they are here will also be discussed.
"We will take that on board, so we can offer them the kind of service that they want and what is most beneficial to the children."
The Green Lane Nursery is a non-profit making organisation and has recently applied for charity status.
Interested parties are invited to attend a meeting at the nursery, on Monday, at 6.30pm.
