ORGANISERS report "strong'' entries for the Middlesbrough Competitive Music Festival, which began last weekend and continues tomorrow and Saturday.
Tomorrow there will be a competition for string instruments at the Middlesbrough Baptist Church, in Cambridge Road.
Choirs will vie for honours in the junior choral contest in St Mary's Roman Catholic Cathedral, at Coulby Newham, also tomorrow.
Young singers will compete in the junior vocal section at Hall Garth School, in Hall Drive, Acklam, on Saturday.
