THIS week sees the last of a series of meetings designed to help North Yorkshire farmers.
The sessions, organised by the North York Moors National Park Authority, include advice on taking part in the Government's Stewardship schemes, which help fund wildlife-friendly practices.
Tonight sees the third session, at the Wainstones Hotel, Great Broughton.
The final session is held on Thursday at the Salmon Leap, in Sleights. Both meetings start at 7pm and a light supper will be provided.
The meetings will be attended by representatives of organisations including the National Park Authority, Defra's Rural Development Service, the Farm Business Advice Service and the Environment Agency.
Tim Lawn, a National Park Authority member and a farmer, said: "These meetings can help to develop a closer working relationship between farmers and the authority in a way that will result in benefits to both."
Anyone wishing to attend is asked to contact Amy Walker on (01439) 770657.
