A NEW home is being sought for a real-life scamp.
Staff at the Dogs' Trust Darlington Rehoming Centre, in Sadberge, are appealing for a home for terrier crossbreed Scamp.
They say the three-year-old is a real bundle of fun.
He was brought in as a stray in September, after being found by local dog wardens.
Sue Embleton, centre manager, said: "Scamp is a great little dog who has really made lots of friends at the rehoming centre.
"Unfortunately he is a bit of a scruffy chap and sometimes prospective owners can pass him by, but it's such a shame as Scamp has such a great personality and would make a fantastic pet."
Staff said he would prefer an adult home and said he is used to sleeping in an indoor kennel.
Anyone who can offer Scamp or other dogs a home is asked to call the centre on (01325) 333114.
