A WOMAN was yesterday charged with drink driving after her car was involved in an accident which left the other driver with a broken shoulder.
The charge was brought after a collision in Abbey Road, Darlington, at about 6pm on Tuesday, when a Nissan Pickup crashed into a Volkswagen Golf.
The female driver of the Golf was taken to Darlington Memorial Hospital where she was found to have a broken shoulder.
The driver of the Pickup, whose name has not been released, was charged with driving while over the legal alcohol limit. She will appear before Darlington magistrates next week.
