FEARS are growing for a mother-of-three who has been missing for more than two weeks.
Siobhan Day-Preston, 38, was staying at a refuge in Darlington when she went missing on February 21.
She was last seen by a child at the refuge at about 5.30pm. None of her possessions were missing.
Police have renewed an appeal to find Ms Day-Preston, who is previously from Barnard Castle.
They believe she may be in the South Shields area because she is known to have spent time there in the past.
PC John Spooner, of Darlington Police, said: "She is described as a very sociable person who makes friends easily. She is unable to drive and will be relying on public transport to get about.
"As time goes by, we are becoming increasingly concerned for her well-being as she has previously suffered a head injury, which continues to affect her health.
Ms Day-Preston is 5ft 6in and slim. She has collar-length brown, wavy hair with a hint of red. She wears dark clothing and normally has immaculate make-up.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 0845 60 60 365.
