A MANUFACTURER has won orders worth more than £100,000 after taking part in a project to make it more productive.
Faraday Printed Circuits Limited, which has an annual turnover of £4m and 60 staff at its base in Washington, Wearside, has won work in Scotland after improving productivity.
It is now able to meet a 95 per cent on-time delivery rate after working with the North East Productivity Alliance.
General manager Graham Sleep said: "When I joined the business two years ago, it was critical that a structure and culture to support modernisation of manufacturing techniques and thinking was introduced in order to maintain and improve the business within difficult market conditions."
