A TECHNOLOGY professor who had a microchip implanted in his arm is giving a talk to North-East computer businesses next week.
Kevin Warwick, professor of cybernetics at Reading University - dubbed Professor Cyborg - will deliver a keynote speech at the Centre for Life, in Newcastle, on Wednesday March 8. Prof Warwick is one of the world's leading experts on cybernetics and artificial intelligence, and is best known for the experiments in which a chip was implanted in his arm. The chip interacted with his nervous system and enabled a robot arm to mimic his actions.
