STAFF who had jointly notched up more than 3,000 years working for the NHS came together to celebrate their long service.
The 127 employees met at a celebration evening at East Durham and Houghall Community College.
They were presented with long-service certificates and gift vouchers from Easington Primary Care Trust's chief executive Dr Roger Bolas and chairman Ken Greenfield.
Two of the longest-serving staff members were Pamela Smith, practice manager at a South Hetton surgery, and district nursing sister Maureen Casselden, who both received awards for 40 years service.
Mr Greenfield said: "Roger and I had enormous pleasure in presenting awards. Without a doubt everyone attending the event has shown immense dedication to their jobs."
Dr Bolas, who received an award for 30 years service said: "I was delighted to be part of this celebration. The number of years staff attending this event have worked for the NHS and Easington shows real commitment.
