THE country's largest member-led charity is holding an advice and information day in North Yorkshire next month.
Staff and members of Epilepsy Action will be at the Asda store, in Monk's Cross, York, between 9am and 5pm, on March 11.
The charity's regional services manager, Annie Thompson, said: "This event will give people affected by epilepsy an opportunity to find out really useful information and to meet people in a similar situation.
"We encourage people to just call in, whether they are a person with epilepsy themselves, a parent or carer, family member, friend or just someone who wants to find out more about living with epilepsy."
Anyone interested in finding out more about epilepsy, or in joining the local support group, can contact Chris Cussons on 0113 210 8800.
