A CHARITY shop has appealed for anyone with unwanted bric-a-brac or books to donate them to a worthy cause.
Volunteers at the Cancer Research UK shop, on High Row, in Darlington, say they are very short of such items, which are two of the main ranges the shop sells.
Dawn Smith, shop manager, said: "We expanded the range of bric-a-brac to meet the growing demand of the local community, and we are hoping that not only will that attract more people to the shop, but also increase the donations we so desperately need."
Anyone who has unwanted goods they could donate can visit the shop from Monday to Saturday between 9am and 5pm, or on Sunday from 11am to 4pm.
