PEOPLE prepared to walk over hot coals in their bare feet to raise money for good causes are being urged to come forward.
The Derwentside Rotary Club is holding a sponsored fire walk on April 8, at the Craghead Village Hall, in aid of charity.
It will only go ahead if at least 30 people agree to participate, so the club is urging people to come forward.

All entrants will be given a two-hour "mind over matter" session before they walk.
For more information, or to register for the walk, telephone 0796 800 3591.
