HARROGATE'S Valley Gardens, which helped the town to win the European in Bloom award, has won a national accolade.
It has been included in the country's Good Parks Guide which is due to go on sale in April for £12.99.
The book is a reference guide for Britain's top 500 parks and gardens and has been created by Greenspace, in partnership with the Royal
Horticultural Society with backing from English Heritage and the Heritage Lottery Fund.
The gardens were also included in the Gardeners' World Top 50 UK gardens.
