AMATEUR photographers have seen their work go on show this week.
Adults and children are showing their work in the Awe and Wonder exhibition at the Arc, in Stockton, which shows work from literacy project Write to Read.
Pupils from Grangefield School and Oxbridge Primary School joined adults from the Artability group and photographer Robert Cooper to record their visions of Durham Cathedral and its surrounding area using digital cameras.
Participants then worked with poet Bob Beagrie to create poetry describing their feelings about the trip.
The exhibition has been made possible through the Neighbourhood Renewal Fund and the Write to Read Denimstrate project.
Janet Watson, Write to Read development officer for Stockton Borough Council, said: "This is a fantastic exhibition of work from both youngsters and adults alike, everyone really enjoyed themselves on the trip and this shows through in their work.
