Date set for parish meeting: The annual parish assembly for Saltburn, Marske and New Marske will be held on Wednesday, March 22, at 7pm, at Huntcliff School, Saltburn.
Residents will have the opportunity to meet and question Kaye Mount, head of strategy, and Lionel Danby, capital projects manager, of Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council's children's services department, who will give a presentation on the new Saltburn Learning Campus.
Members of the public can submit any other items for discussion, in writing, to The Clerk, Leisure Centre, Marske Mill Lane, Saltburn, TS12 1HJ, no later than Monday, March 6.
Big Band: The Guisborough Save the Children group will host a big band concert at Guisborough Rugby Club, on Friday, March 3, from 7.45pm. Tickets, priced £6, are available from Greensleaves Music, Chaloner Street, Guisborough, or Nancy Webb on (01287) 633850.
Special guest: The Guisborough Bookshop will welcome Graham Aldous, famous for his popular Nell the Sheepdog films, tomorrow, between 11am and 2pm. Mr Aldous will be in the store, on Chaloner Street, with his latest DVD.
Coffee morning: A coffee morning will be hosted by Redcar Liberal Democrats on Saturday, at the Literary Institute, Lord Street, Redcar, from 10am to noon. The event will include stalls and a tombola. Admission is 50p.
