A FLUFFY white terrier puppy is looking for a home with a loving family who will help her to overcome her disability.
Betsy is deaf and will need to find a home with someone who will show her lots of kindness, patience and understanding.
At only ten months old, the celium terrier cross has a real zest for life and will make someone a loyal companion.
She is being cared for by dog-lover Angela Taylor, from County Durham, who says she wins the hearts of everyone she meets.
She said: "She is so lovely and a real character, so many people would love to have her.
"But she needs someone special who will train her, possibly even someone who has had experience with deaf dogs before.
"She is yet to have all her injections, but by the time she gets a new home, she will have had them all done.''
Anyone who would be able to offer Betsy a home can contact Mrs Taylor on (01388) 812782.
