THE revitalisation of Durham has been given a boost after the city's £7.2m Clements Wharf Scheme became the region's fastest-selling development.
AMEC's waterfront residential project took the market by storm last year when buyers queued up to spend £4.3m on luxury apartments in the first 24 hours, confirming the city as the North-East's property hotspot.
Property experts KnightFrank, selling agents for the scheme, said that sales werecontinuing to perform well.
Catie Evans, sales and marketing director for AMEC's residential developments division, said: "We are delighted by the interest shown in Clements Wharf.
"We were confident that the great location and strength of design and interiors would prove popular with buyers and are very pleased with the continuing response.''
Eight apartments remain on the market.
