LAW firm Ward Hadaway has worked with entrepreneur Brad Holbrook to invest in a growing healthcare company.
North-East businessman Mr Holbrook, in conjunction with his advisors at Ward Hadaway, has invested in Rostra UK, providing early-stage finance to accelerate the growth of the company, which specialises in treatment for varicose veins.
Rostra UK has a mixture of fixed sites and mobile treatment units.
Martin Hulls, head of corporate finance at Ward Hadaway, who advised Mr Holbrook throughout the transaction, said: "It has been a pleasure to work on another successful investment with Brad Holbrook. Rostra UK is an exciting young company with a high-quality, valuable service to offer sufferers of this painful disease. This is a significant investment, helping to accelerate the growth of Rostra UK, hopefully enabling much-needed treatment to reach the area a lot quicker."
Further funding has come from the Coalfields Enterprise Fund, the venture capital fund managed by Enterprise Ventures.
