DESIGNS have been put forward for the redevelopment of a shop frontage.
A previous plan to put planters, cobbles and concrete globes in front of shops on Burnside Road, Firthmoor, was turned down because they did not meet highway standards.
Instead, flags will be laid and bollards installed, to create an open space in front of the shops.
The scheme, which is part of the Single Regeneration Budget plans on the estate, will be monitored to see how successful it is.
