RETIRED teacher Norma Robinson swapped roles with a former pupil when she enrolled on a college computer course.
Mrs Robinson, 75, signed on for a course at Bishop Auckland College's Community Centre, in the Royal Corner, in her home town of Crook, where Joanne Frost, from Hunwick, is a tutor.
An English teacher at the Alderman Cape Secondary Modern School from 1962, which later became Willington Parkside, Mrs Robinson taught Joanne in the 1970s.
She retired from her job in 1985, although she has continued teaching as a volunteer member of the Wear-Tees University of the Third Age.
