PREPARATIONS are under way for the new season at a visitor attraction.
Steve Jaques, from Wolds Way lavender farm, at Wintringham, near Malton, took delivery of a new bottler this week.
The machine will help him fill bottles of lavender-based cosmetics ready for the opening of the farm shop on March 21. The family company produces 20 types of potions and lotions, including massage oil, hand cream and foot balm.
Mr Jaques said: "The bottler was quite a big investment for us. But previously I have had to spend my days off filling bottles, and it should make life a bit easier."
Steve and Anne Jaques took over the farm in March 2002 and grow more than 80 types of the herb.
