ART lovers are invited to Trip the Light Fantastic at an exhibition that was launched last night.
The display, at the National Glass Centre in Sunderland, brings together a group of five British artists and designers who have been working with glass, light, sound, mixed media and animation to produce the work.
Among the exhibitors is Katy Dove, whose work is set to a soundtrack. She presents a hypnotic film that explores the relationship between perception, light, colour and sound.
Musician and sound artist Martyn Ware and lighting designer Pip Rhodes have collaborated to create a work called Spectrum Persuit Vehicle which combines glass, light and 3D sound to explore the spectral nature of light.
Other works included in the exhibition are by Kate Owens and Martin Richman.
It will run until April 30.
