HUNT supporters have given £2,000 to support the Great North Air Ambulance.
The Braes of Derwent Hunt Supporters Club raised the money by putting on a panto before Christmas. Dick Whittington was produced by Liz Parker and performed at Blackfyne Community School.
Ms Parker said: "It is the second time that a panto has been done, and it is for a good cause.
"The Great North Air Ambulance has been to fields and pulled three huntsmen out after they have fallen.
"Access to some of the areas the hunt goes to is sometimes very difficult, so this is to return the favour.
"Everyone knows it is a fantastic charity."
