THERE was no announcement from Hartlepool United last night over the future of the club's manager.
Martin Scott was suspended from his position seven days ago as the club carried out an investigation into a dressing room bust-up which followed the home defeat to Blackpool on January 28.
Youth team coach Paul Stephenson has been put in temporary charge as the club looks into events.
However, with reports of a further incident involving Scott taking place in Durham last weekend, his position as Pool manager appears to be increasingly untenable.
A meeting took place at Victoria Park yesterday as evidence, gathered in the form of statements from those in the dressing room 11 days ago, was weighed up.
An announcement was expected by last evening, but as yet there has been no indication over a decision.
Pool will release any news today via a statement on the club website.
Stephenson will again take training today and Pool have a reserve game at York City, when Adam Boyd and Joel Porter are expected to continue their return from long-term knee injuries.
Pool, currently third bottom, are at home to Chesterfield in League One on Friday night.
