Abu Hamza did not only aim his vitriolic rhetoric at Jews, unbelievers and Westerners. He also targeted gay people, the tourist industry, the royal family and women in bikinis.
Here are some of his more colourful comments:
On women
He said that Western women who married into Islam were doing so as a fashion statement - "today she wears the veil and tomorrow she would wear the bikini or any other thing like that."
On Britishness
"They leave their wealth to their dogs."
On Princess Diana
"There are people now who worship Diana. After a while she will have her own Koran, have mosques and churches in her name."
On prostitutes
"Throw a couple of empty bottles at their heads or something - tell them to go"
On Jews
"We do not want the Jews to pull away from Palestine, but we want them to be buried there. This is God's decree."
On the victims of the Russian Kursk disaster
"Allah kill all of them for our brothers in Chechnya and for our brothers who are getting killed in their evil empire."
On homosexuals
He claimed that Aids had been sent as a curse. "They have a common punishment amongst them and they have the virus to run after them wherever they go."
