Bishop Auckland's depressing run of defeats finally came to an end when they picked up a point in a goalless draw at Shepshed in the UniBond first division.
Bishops last picked up a point way back on October 18th at Kendal.
Manager Brian Healy, who went on as a sub because of a shortage of players, said: "The players delivered everything I asked of them, and at least the point stops the rot.
"It's a start, and hopefully we can do the same against Bridlington on Wednesday."
Healy almost grabbed the winner late in the game, but he fired wide.
However, striker Mark Sheeran didn't make the trip, and has told Healy that he wants to play elsewhere.
In the Premier Division, Whitby drew 0-0 at Ilkeston, while Gateshead were thumped 5-1 at home by Matlock, after new signing Callum Selby put them level at 1-1.
Blyth had a good 3-2 win at Ashton United to lift them into fifth place in the table, Scott Bell scoring the winner in the last minute to complete his hat-trick.
