A YOUTH theatre and dance group is to start rehearsals for its latest production - The Chronicles of Narnia.
The Tearaways from Shildon have finished their third successful pantomime which took to the stage last month and are now working hard on the CS Lewis classic.
A spokesman for the group said: "This is going to be a bold and adventurous production for the group to take on. But they like a challenge and, as with all of their productions, a lot of hard work and determination will be put into it."
The group is also seeking more people aged between eight and 16 to join them.
The spokesman said: "We have excellent dance and vocal coaches and would love to hear from any young people who would like to come along."
