AN amateur football club is hoping to gallop up the league table after holding a race night next month.
Bishop Auckland FC will hold the event on Friday, at the New Masons pub, in Byerley Road, Shildon.
The evening starts at 7.30pm and entry is free, with a free buffet, and will help boost club funds.
Club director John Cowey said: "Obviously, it's very important that we get a good turnout at these events to keep club funds at a manageable level."
