Bishop Auckland MP Helen Goodman will keep her constituents up to date via the world wide web after the launch of her own Internet site.
Ms Goodman has set up the website to inform local people about upcoming events and surgeries and give her views on events affecting the area.
The site also contains details about Ms Goodman's background, speeches and articles and information about the constituency of Bishop Auckland.
Ms Goodman said: "My aim with the website is to keep my constituents informed about what I am doing locally and in Parliament.
"The site will be updated with news on a regular basis.
"I hope my constituents will have a look and let me know what they think."
