A GUINEA pig enthusiast has launched an on-line pet shop.
Becky Magson, 23, from East Appleton, near Richmond, first published a guinea pig advice and information website five years ago.
Now she has started selling equipment to owners of small pets through the site.
The site - www.cavycapers.com - attracts more than 3,000 visitors a day from all over the world.
Miss Magson said: "I started CavyCapers when I recognised a definite lack of reliable information - 'pocket pets', such as guinea pigs, don't get the attention and publicity that dogs or cats do.
"I have now started the shop because a lot of people were asking where they could buy equipment from."
Miss Magson got her first guinea pig in 1992 and admits she is now fanatical about the animals.
