Nine people were arrested this morning after a major drug raid in a County Durham village.
Around 50 police officers swooped on addresses in Great Lumley, near Chester-le-Street, including the Warriors' Arms pub in Front Street, where four people were arrested.
Officers seized property including a small quantity of cannabis, drug paraphernalia, mobile phones and television sets.
The dawn raids follow a four-month intelligence gathering operation targeting drug dealing in the area.
