A COMPANY is offering specialised storage for businesses in Darlington.
Lingfield Warehousing Limited (LWL) has the facility to offer secure archive and document storage at its premises on the Lingfield Point site.
A number of storage options are available including shelved containers that hold between 75 and 100-plus archive boxes and dehumidified archive storage rooms equipped with cantilever shelving.
To maximise space, the company also has mobile shelving which reduces the number of aisles needed.
As well as computerised tracking and movement records, LWL has a retrieval service, and offers a reading room and copying service for its customers.
The secure warehouse is also covered by internal and external 24-hour CCTV.
The number of occupied archive storage containers has risen to 50 inside three years and the indications are that number will rise.
Alan Grant, LWL managing director, said: "More and more people are recognising the need to release space for the storage of dormant documents that need to be kept to satisfy legislative or other reasons. By using this service our customers can be safe in the knowledge that their documents are in a secure environment while also allowing them to make room for possible expansion or development of their own premises."
