A FARMER accused of threatening to kill his teenage stepdaughter during a chase across fields lost a plea for bail yesterday.
Nigel Harry Lund, 43, was said to be living in a caravan at Forest Head Farm, Bogs Lane, Starbeck, Harrogate - where he tends horses and suckling cows on a 60-acre holding.
He was remanded in custody by the town's magistrates.
Mr Lund is charged with making a threat to kill Natasha Halford, the 16-year-old daughter of his partner, on January 15.
He did not enter any plea to the charge and magistrates remanded him in custody until February 21.
