A STUDENT fundraising group is looking to give away the money it has collected.
Duck - Durham University Charities Kommittee - raises thousands of pounds each year through collections and events.
Now it is seeking recipients in the Durham area for the funds gathered during the past year.
A Duck spokesman said charities, community and voluntary groups and organisations could be eligible for its support.
"Last year, we gave away £30,000, but this year it will be more because we are raising more,'' he said.
Groups seeking funds should write to Duck at Dunelm House, New Elvet, Durham DH1 3AN for an application form. The deadline for applications is Wednesday, March 15.
* Duck held a street collection in the centre of Durham last Saturday that raised £50 for the NSPCC. It thanks everyone who donated money.
