THE magic of science will be explained to prospective students and their parents as Northallerton College opens to the public tonight.
At a critical time for year nine students, they can tour the college to learn about the facilities available to them.
Head of science Richard Chew said: "Every department will be showing off its wares to prospective students and their parents.
"In the science department, we will have 11 experiments set up to show how learning can be both informative and a lot of fun."
The open evening will take place from 6.30pm to 8.30pm and is designed to help pupils make subject choices for the future.
