MEMBERS of the public are invited to attend a board meeting of Derwentside Primary Care Trust, tomorrow.
The trust oversees GP surgeries, clinics, health centres and community nursing, as well as taking a lead role in developing local health services in the north-west Durham area.
Among the topics of discussion will be the feedback from the consultation exercise over the proposed merger of mental health trusts in County Durham and Tees Valley.
Other items on the agenda include the trust's local delivery plan for 2006-7, setting up a process to monitor community pharmacy contracts, plus the outcome of consultation on urology services in the district.
The meeting will be held at Derwentside Business Centre, on the Villa Real Business Park, in Consett, starting at 9.30am.
